CPU systems are unique to Parker and provide a simple solution that reduces interference between functions without the need for individual compensators or load sense shuttles. Spools are tailored to provide the maximum required flow for the function at the pump compensator pressure and can be flow compensated to reduce interference.Outriggers, steering and brake manifolds can be put in parallel with the main valve where signal shuttles send the highest load signal to the pump. As with a typical load sensing system, the pump will seek an intermediate pressure position. But if lift or telescoping functions are activated, the signal line is blocked and the pump goes to its compensated setting.
